Never buy anything that is not on sale. I make shopping a sport. If there is something I need to buy  I always check the internet and see where I can purchase it for the best price.

Here’s what I do. First I find the item that I’m looking for. If it’s something that is going to be available from many different retailers I usually check Amazon.com first. Then I cut and paste the exact name of the item into google.com and see where else the item is available. You’ll be surprised at the ranges of prices that most items are available for over the Internet.

And, I always check for coupons or discount codes that might be available. A good place to look is http://www.retailmenot.com and there are many more. Just search “coupons and discount codes” on google.com.

I recently purchased our grandchild a high chair that his mom had picked out. According the link she sent the high chair would cost $199. I put the brand name and model number into Google search and it returned a list of places that had that same highchair. I found prices as low as $173 and that included free shipping.

So never buy anything that is not on sale and check the internet to see if there are great deals to be had.
