A paradigm is a set of assumptions, concepts, values practices that constitutes a way of viewing reality. Paradigms form our world-view; our belief about how our world works whether that view is logical or not.

For example, we’ve all heard that “girls are not good at math and science”. We know that is not true but how many times have we heard that statement to the point it becomes part of a belief system (paradigm)?

Paradigms that do not serve our best interest must be left behind so that we can create the life that we want. This is especially true of women who have survived domestic violence. These women have spent years being told that they are worthless, useless, and stupid until that becomes part of their belief system (their paradigms).

In order to help these women break the cycle of domestic violence that dominates their lives we must first help them overcome the paradigms that do not serve them well and move them to a place where they  can embody a “I can do it” attitude.

Extensive financial education will not help women who feel that they are stupid, worthless or useless which is why The Business of Me is important to them. The Business of Me provides tools they can use to overcome these negative paradigms and start them on a path to achieve success.
